What happens on Rev B of a loop package
By Saad, practising automation engineer · Updated 2026-09-25
Re-import the Loop Register. Only changed loops regenerate. Inside the purchased band, Rev B is $0. Growth past the band is the difference to the next band.
The register is the revision
Export the Loop Register, change tags or terminals in Excel, re-import. The diff lists added, removed, and changed loops before you apply. Unchanged loops keep their drawings.
What regenerates
Only loops whose data hash moved are redrawn. The merged PDF and DXF zip pick up those sheets. Cable and JB registers rebuild from the full project data so a cable shared by a changed loop stays consistent.
What you pay
If the field-wired loop count stays inside the pack band, regenerating Rev B or Rev C is $0. If the list grows from 150 to 180 you pay the difference from Growth to Scale, not another $399.
Frequently asked questions
Do I buy the pack again when twelve tags change?
No, if the loop count stays inside the band. Re-import; only those loops redraw.
What if we add thirty loops after Growth?
You pay the difference to the next band. Generated files from the old band stay downloadable.
